Sell & Trade-in

Can you sell my watch on my behalf through consignment?

At The Stellaris Collection, we offer consignment services for qualified timepieces. To begin, submit the Sell and Trade form with your watch’s brand, model, reference number, year, accessories, and clear photos.

Once we review the details, we’ll provide a preliminary estimate and discuss the next steps. After approval, you’ll ship the watch to us for inspection and preparation. We then professionally photograph and list it for sale across our trusted collector network. Payment is issued once the watch sells.

How do trades toward a purchase work?

We offer trade-in credit for qualified timepieces. To start, submit your watch details through the Sell and Trade form, including brand, model, condition, and photos. Once we evaluate the watch, we’ll provide a trade-in value that can be applied directly toward a purchase from The Stellaris Collection.

Unlike standard consignment, you do not need to wait for your watch to sell. Upon approval, you’ll ship the watch to us, and once it passes inspection, the agreed-upon value can be used as credit toward your selected timepiece.

What details and photos do you need for a quote?

Please provide brand, model, reference, approximate year, any service history, and photos of the dial, case, caseback, bracelet or clasp, and accessories.

How do you evaluate condition and set an offer?

We consider market demand for the reference, originality, condition, and set completeness, comparing to current sales data.

What if inspection changes the offer?

How quickly will I be paid?

When will my watch ship?

In-stock pieces typically ship the next business day after cleared payment and final verification.

“Available Upon Request” watches are typically secured within 24 to 48 hours. Rare models may take up to one week before shipment, following cleared payment and final approval.

How long does it take to make and ship engagement rings?

Engagement rings are crafted to order and typically require 3 to 4 weeks for production and shipment.

If there are any changes to this timeline, we will notify you promptly.

How quickly do accessory rings ship?

If your selected ring size is in stock, accessory rings usually ship within 3 to 5 business days.

If resizing is required, please allow up to 2 weeks before shipment.

How long does shipping take for earrings, necklaces, and bracelets?

What is your return policy?

We want you to feel completely confident in your purchase. We provide a 48 hour inspection period from delivery.

To qualify for a refund, the item must be in original, unworn condition with all packaging, tags, and accessories; the return request must be emailed to info@thestellariscollection.com within 48 hours.

The customer covers insured return shipping.

After the 48 hour window, all sales are final.

  • Engagement rings are made to order and are final sale.

Custom orders, made-to-order, special requests, resized, or altered pieces and items sold as final sale are not eligible for return.

Do you polish watches before sale?

In most cases, no. The majority of our timepieces are sourced in exceptional condition and do not require polishing. Our clients rely on The Stellaris Collection to curate only the highest-quality examples available, which is why untouched, collector-grade condition is our standard.

However, in select cases, we may perform a light professional polish if it enhances the watch’s appearance without affecting case geometry or structural integrity. This is done sparingly and only under expert supervision to ensure the value and authenticity of the piece are preserved.

Will you size the watch bracelet before shipping?

Yes. Provide your wrist measurement and we will size the bracelet when possible. Any remaining links or micro adjust pins will be included in the package.

Do you offer a warranty on your jewelry?

Yes. Our jewelry includes a manufacturer’s warranty covering normal wear and tear for 6 months from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers issues such as:

  • Breakage due to craftsmanship
  • Loss of stones under normal wear conditions

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Accidents or misuse
  • Improper care or handling
  • Exposure to chemicals, cleaners, or harsh environments
